E-bike buying guides
E-bike buying guides based on current manufacturer specifications. We focus on what each model is designed to do well — commuting, folding, cargo, step-through, all-terrain, long-range or compact storage — and show the published specs that matter for that use. We do not road-test or score bikes. Product details and availability can change, so confirm the current information on the manufacturer or retailer page.

How we build these guides: E-bike Shortlist uses manufacturer and retailer product pages as the source of published specifications. We record the date checked, separate nominal from peak motor power, and avoid turning manufacturer range claims into real-world test results. We update model details as product pages change, and in our comparison tables we use the current selling price shown by the manufacturer or retailer rather than crossed-out compare-at prices (product tiles show the store’s own compare-at figure, as supplied by the retailer feed). When we compare specific models, we start from the same intended use and frame type, then the closest current price band; if brands do not offer comparable products for the same shopper question, we use a category guide instead of forcing a model-vs-model comparison. When a specification is important to your purchase, confirm the current value on the retailer or manufacturer page before ordering.
