Summary
Bikes sold on their low weight run from 29.54 lb for Brompton's Electric T Line to 35 lb 15.7 oz for Specialized's Turbo Vado SL 2 6.0 Carbon in a medium frame. Velotric sells its 39 lb Tempo as a "Lightweight City Ebike." These bikes get there with titanium or carbon frames, batteries of 345 to 520Wh, and in the Tempo's case no fenders or rack.

The Brompton and Specialized figures describe the lightest version. Brompton's weights start "from" the lightest build, and it offers "an optional single-speed version for maximum weight savings." Specialized's headline figure is lower still, "As light as 15.9kg / 35.2lbs," against the 16.32 kg listed for a medium frame in the spec table.
What the lighter weight trades away
Two of the four rely on frame material. Brompton builds the Electric T Line in "Titanium and carbon," and Specialized uses a carbon frame and fork on the Vado SL 2 6.0.
Velotric saves weight in the equipment list. The Tempo's spec table reads "Fenders N/A" and "Rear Rack N/A," and both are sold as separate accessories. It runs a 36V battery of 374Wh, and Velotric rates it for 60 miles on pedal assist with "a 187-lb rider using Eco mode on flat roads."
The Specialized is the exception on battery size. At 520Wh, it carries about 50 percent more capacity than the Brompton's 345Wh while weighing about 6.5 lb more.
Weight with the battery out
A removable battery lowers what you lift only if you take it out first. The XP Lite2's battery weighs 8 lb, so a rider carrying the bike up a flight of stairs lifts 41 lb instead of 49. The Tempo drops from 39 to 34 lb, and the Brompton from 29.54 to 25.7 lb. Specialized lists the Vado SL 2's battery as "Fully Integrated" and gives no weight without it.
For scale, Lectric's own XP4 folding bike weighs 62 lb plus a 7 lb battery, 20 lb more than the XP Lite2 in total.
