What we collect

There are no accounts, and we never ask for your email address or payment details. The items you save stay in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us. If you share a set of saved items, the product IDs — and the display name you type, if you type one — travel inside the link you send, and appear in our server logs when someone opens that link.

Measurement

We count page views, clicks, saves, pins and search terms in aggregate, without cookies and without personal information. It tells us which items people open — not who opened them.

Affiliate links

Links to retailers are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer or its affiliate network (such as Impact or Rakuten Advertising) may set cookies on their own domain so that a later purchase is attributed to this site, and we may then earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those cookies are set by them, on their domain, and are governed by their privacy policies — not by this one.

Removing your data

"Clear all" in Saved removes your saved items and the display name; clearing your browser's site data does the same. Apart from the server logs described above, we hold nothing of yours to delete. Questions: [email protected].

Who we are

E-bike Shortlist (ebikeshortlist.com) is an independent product-discovery feed for electric bikes and e-bike gear. Our Pinterest account (@ebikeshortlist) publishes Pins that link to product pages on this site; the Pinterest integration only creates and reads Pins and boards on our own account and never accesses other users' data. Contact: [email protected].
