Summary
A folding Vivi saves floor space but not weight. The folding FM20UL is listed at 55 lb with its battery, 2 lb lighter than the non-folding MT26GUL commuter, and the other folders are listed at 52 to 64 lb. The models share a 330 lb load limit and a Class 2 rating, and most use the same 374.4Wh battery, so the choice is mostly about wheels, folded size and whether a rack is included.
Five Vivi models by their spec tables
| Model | Folds | Tires | Battery | Weight with battery | Folded size as listed | Rear rack |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MT26GUL | No | 26 x 1.95 in | 48V 7.8Ah, 374.4Wh | 57 lb | n/a | Integrated |
| FM20UL | Yes | 20 x 2.4 in | 48V 7.8Ah, 374.4Wh | 55 lb | 83 x 59 cm (32.7 x 23.2 in) | Included, 25 kg (55 lb) |
| MT20UL | Yes | 20 x 3.0 in | 48V 10.4Ah, 499.2Wh | 52 lb or 64 lb (page lists both) | 90 x 64 cm (35.4 x 25.2 in) | Included, 25 kg (55 lb) |
| Gopina | Yes | 16 x 3.0 in | 48V 7.8Ah, 374.4Wh | 60 lb | 83 x 59 cm (32.6 x 23.2 in) | Included, 45 kg (100 lb) |
| M026TGBUL | Yes | 26 x 1.95 in | 48V 7.8Ah, 374.4Wh | 55 lb or 60 lb (page lists both) | 91 x 87 cm (35.8 x 34.3 in) | Optional |
All five spec tables list "E-bike Class 2," a 150 kg (330 lb) load capacity and the certification line "SGS | UL 2849/2271." Vivi gives folded sizes as two numbers without saying which dimensions they are.
The weight figures do not always agree
Two of the folding models carry two different weights on the same page. The MT20UL's spec table lists 29 kg (64 lb) in one place and "24.5kg / 52Ibs (battery included)" in another. The M026TGBUL lists 25 kg (55 lb) and 27 kg (60 lb, battery included). The 12 lb gap on the MT20UL is larger than the spread between the MT26GUL, FM20UL and Gopina.
The folders that are consistent are not much lighter than the full-size bike. The FM20UL at 55 lb and the Gopina at 60 lb bracket the MT26GUL's 57 lb. Folding changes the shape, and on the M026TGBUL, with its full suspension and 26-inch wheels, the folded size stays at 91 by 87 cm.
Speed and range claims
Vivi's pages give top speed three ways. The spec tables say "35km/h 21.7MPH." The MT26GUL headline and the FM20UL description round that to 22 mph. The MT20UL description says it "can reach speeds of up to 20 Mph."
Range is split by riding mode. For the MT26GUL, Vivi says the battery "provides a range of 22-25 miles in all electric mode and 44-50 miles in pedal assisted mode." The MT20UL carries a larger 499.2Wh battery, yet Vivi gives it the same "maximum riding range of 44-50 miles." On a 10-mile round trip ridden on the throttle alone, the lower all-electric figure leaves about 12 miles in reserve.
The frame label decides which parts fit
Vivi sells replacement parts for two frame series that do not interchange. Its parts pages say bikes bought "between 2021 and 2023," or with a frame label starting "SPA~" or reading "M026TGB, MT20, Gopina V1," belong to the SPA series. Bikes bought "after 2024," or with labels starting "AMAK~" or reading "C26 UL, F26FUL, ACE01," belong to the AMAK series. Vivi states that "E-bike parts for these two frame series are incompatible."
The model name alone does not settle it, since the MT20 and Gopina V1 appear on the SPA list while Gopina product images carry AMAK frame numbers.
